This composition started with the the Ukraine war in mind, but as the track moved to its final mixes, the war in Israel and Gaza began. Many instances of violence fill the stories in the news. Most stories focus on the explosive moment, but move past the continuing pain and suffering. I feel the “ghosts” are the pain and suffering which continues to future generations.

The track flows into three parts to signify the creation of the ghosts of war:
- Voices cry out in sadness and disbelief as the threat is realized.
- The sudden unexpected fury and prayers for help.
- Finally, dust and debris as the war machine fades away. The rumble of continued fighting heard in the distance.
